SEAGULLS Chip in to clean up the bay

cealn up the bay 2In 2011 and 2012 the dual premiership winning Wynnum Manly Seagulls cleaned up any opposition that crossed their paths. Now the bayside club has another clean up job to attend to along the Wynnum Manly foreshore.

Wynnum Manly Seagulls has signed up for the Cleaning Up The Bay campaign, a joint initiative of 17 clubs from Bribie Island to Redland Bay that aims to have Moreton Bay looking its best for summer. And they want your help! The event will be held on December 1st and locals are being urged to roll p their sleeves and pitch in to help.

"If everyone digs in the task becomes a lot easier" Seagulls chief executive Scott Thornton said. Mr Thornton said the club signed on as a way of giving back to the community that cheered the club to glory. "A lot of players and supporters are local and this is a chance to give a little bit back," he said. For more information visit facebook.comcleaningupthebay
